Colour me BEAUTIFUL.......

So I have this fascination of pastel coloured hair the past while (well few months ha-ha) and I dont' know whether to take the plunge.I'm so over the balyage look and being a blonde I don't think balyage would play its part on my locks!

There are so many celebs around now that are loving this craze from the infamous Nicki Minaj with her pink soda pop hair, Katy Perry with her washed out blonde pink look, Kelly Osbourne and her lush lavender locks and Lady Gaga with her technicolour dreamboat hair.

Since pastel colours are the key trend for Summer 2012 they have just evolved to so much more than just on clothing & accessories. So why not mix your pastel pieces with your hair too ???

I know its probably a bit too drastic to take the plunge and dye your whole hair a wacky colour but if your not ballsy enough (like me) there is another amazing way you can achieve this look but in the ends of your hair.

All you need to do is buy a pack of chalk pastels, rubber gloves, hairspray and a have a hair straightner handy.
Step 1 - Gloves on
Step 2 - Take all the colours out of the chalk pack that you want you hair to be
Step 3 - Chalk away at the ends of your hair
Step 4 - Spray your chalked hair with hairspray
Step 5 - And finally lock that colour in with your hair straightner

And there you go as simple as that. Be sure to wear a top that is similar in colour to your hair as the chalk will rub of and be noticeable..... cause nice black/white top with chalk marks all over it is not a good look!
