Ohhhh na-na what's her name ??

Yes the bitch is back with a bang and not only with Chris brown but out on the run way!

Rihanna has come together with one of Britain's best high street brands "River Island" and cooked up a storm for our future wardrobes!

As soon as I heard wind of her collaborating with one of our favorite shops, the waiting game began. And now that waiting game has come to an end and day I have waited for is here!

The AW13 collection was showcased last night at London Fashion week and with models like Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn rocking the show, eyes were certainly peeled.

With most of the outfits sported on the runway being some of Ri-Ri's signature
Looks ( which we all lust over) we now will have access to finally purchase these bad boys! Have a quick look at what to be expecting in River Island in the upcoming months ( and walking the streets of Dublin i would like to add haha) ;-)

Penneys SS13 Press Day.....

So I got my hands on some pics of the Penneys Press Day for SS13. As a recent Buyer for the Accessories team I can't help but still keep myself in the loop and want to know what's going on it is like a addiction haha!

From the mixes of pastels with neons and neutral bases to keep the simiplicity of the range you can't help love the mix mash of colour. With visible trends from the Wild Wild West as seen on denim shirts with embroidered collars, chambray denim finishes and fringing you can't help the glint in your eye as everybody loves a bit of fringe, whether it is on a top, skirt or bag you gotta love it!

Other trends and trims are studs, metallic, glitter, embellishment even though you thought Christmas was over with the bling, na-ah..... it is here for the Summer, as irridescent and sheer is all in this year! And I cannot be forgetting about the sport luxe 90's touch, with neon trim wedged high tops(which are still here to stay), mesh look jumpers, airtex trimmed tee's and football jackets, these are all back out on the shelves for SS13.

To break it down into subsections by Trend for this summer, have a look here;

GLOBAL TRAVELER
Global traveler is a festival-ready collection of shorts, vests and maxi dresses with amazing embellished detail.

RETRO BEAT
Nods to the 1980s with a lot of block colours and boxy silhouettes.

SWAGGER
This is definatley a mix of the new style Ri-Ri which she has been spotted wearing tracksuit bottoms with heels or the sporty chic Rita Ora style wearing old school football jerseys.

CRYSTAL COUTURE
Possibly the dressiest of the trends, with a lot of metallic pastels and broderie anglaise detail

NEW OLD WEST
A very Isabel Marant inspired cowboy theme, with lots of denim, fringing and Native American inspired embroidery.

To sum the womenswear and accessories collection up in one I would have to say it would be: FRESH!!!!

So keep your eyes pealed for some of the lateste trends at a steal which will be hitting down instore from Januaury onwards :)

Choke it up......

Yep, so our little friend the choker necklace has creeped itself back into our high street shops and onto the necks of celebrities and catwalks. We knew there was only a matter of time til it came back into our high streets as since the main trend in jewellery at the moment and no saturday night outfit is complete without a 'statement necklace' or some sort of neck candy.

We thought it was going to stay in the era of the late 80's/early 90's were we all owned or seen someone with the plastic tattoo esque one ( which was from our era and we bought outta the pound shop) which we thought we looked so in style, well when we were like 10 yrs old, or some goth walking down the road with a some crucifix hanging of velvet ribbon and we thought eeeeww, we would never wear that ?? Well sorry to say some of us have to take that back now and I am one of them cause I am guilty as charged I have worn one of these so called goth inspired chokers! I had seen this jewellery trend coming out the past while, but the likes of River Island, Asos and Topshop are definatley the culprits when it comes to being spolit for choice!

We all thought that by wearing a black crucifix choker we would look like a goth or a freak but nah-ah not at all. And if this goth look doesnt suit you can be sure to find something else that compliments your style. It doesn't have to be all grunge and black or tight around your neck. This choker trend can range from torc necklaces which are still around from SS12 but are more upscale with gems and clusters of stones to jazz them up ( as seen on ASOS), to more ethnic style choker necklaces which drape on the shoulders or even go into a bodychain or even collar necklaces which are still around.

And at last but not least the other style of choker that I am absolutley in love with and want right now has to be known other than the 'Celine ID Necklace' as sported by Rihanna and Kimmy K in both gunmetal and gold. The minute I saw this it gave me flashbacks of the chunky ID bracelets that we seen in the window of Argos or Thomas Gear jewellers but there is something about this chunky choker that is ghetto faboulous and which can pull any outfit together.

So whether you wanna be chic and classy like Kim K or ghetto fab like Ri-Ri, definatley give this trend a bash cause I already have :)

I Don't think your ready for this Jelly......

So it's that time of the year again where everyone is making resolutions. Whether it's loosing that crimbo excess weight, getting down a dress size for spring time or toning up for summer, I think anything to do with weight loss or looking good is definatley on every girls new years resolution including mine

As we all are determined to stick at it we cant help feel ourselves slipping somewhere along the line but as soon as we see girls on facebook ripped with the new craze TRX, celebs in the mags looking amazing even after having babies and the one and only Victoria Secret fashion show which makes our jaws drop and we all ooze with envy we all wanna get back on that band wagon!

We all think by either starving ourselves, cutting out junk food and curries that our dream body will arrive over night but we all know it's not that simple. And I am one of them who thinks 'Oh i was really good the past few days where is the scales and let me see?' But this never happens! Is there any day that goes by that we dont think of our weight? Or even feel guilty about that chocolate bar? Well I know that's how i feel while i watch the bf eat loads chocolate and not care, and me thinking DAMN YOU !!!

I definatley think if you wanna loose weight or just tone up its all a can do attitude and making lifestyle changes, not just short term. I was in Weight Watchers when I was a teenager and lost a good bit of weight from but in fairness, it's all about consistancy but as the years go on it's harder to keep up as our bodies are changing. I recenetly joined by WW but it's so different here in Oz im not sure if it is for me, so i think i will have to change to something else. If something is not working on you and you dont see results and are doing the same thing maybe you need to change it up , and that's what I shall be doing.

After coming across (my obsession) Kelly Osbourne and her new TV programme about all her weight loss journey, how she did it and kept it off and now sheis after teaming up with her trainer and nutrionsit to help other women who want to loose weight, I came across her golden rules:

KELLY OSBOURNE'S HOLLYWOOD DIET PLAN

Trim and toned: Kelly Osbourne has lost a lot of weight
Trim and toned: Kelly Osbourne has lost a lot of weight
Fitness expert Fred Khordishi runs a healthy eating food company Simple Foods.
Working alongside his chefs and a nutritionist he has devised an eating plan which is quick and easy to follow to help you lose weight and get healthy fast. Fred and Kelly's top tips are:
  • Eat every two to three hours
  • Don’t shop for food when you are feeling hungry
  • Don’t cook when you are feeling hungry – as you will just pick while you are cooking
  • Make your lunch in a batch for the week. Pack and label them in Tupperware and put them in a freezer and take them out and use them as you need
  • Don't only eat to get full! This is a bad habit to get into
  • Only eat when you need to
  • Don’t skip meals
  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water each day
  • Have any dressing, sauce or gravy on the side
  • Do not cut back on calories as you will be doing exercise so you will need the food for energy
  • If you make and eat the meals that have been selected and take part in the exercises that have been advised you will be on course to lose 1-2 pounds per week (this is the weight loss that is advised by the British Dietetic Association)
HOW TO USE THE PLAN
The menu suggestions listed below have been designed to allow you a good balance of nutrients each day and allows you to mix and match. Just make sure you check out the calories and make sure you don’t go over your daily calorie intake.
• 1100 calories per day for women
• 1600 calories per day for men
There are seven options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, just select one from each and then you have your daily meal plan.
